Put on your hiking shoes and set off to discover the valleys, quiet trails, and volcanic landscapes. Sometimes, a beautiful walk begins simply at the exit of a village or at the turn of a small path that makes you want to go further.

Swimming, canoeing or kayaking, fishing or simply finding a quiet spot to have a picnic. In the warmer months, the water is never far away.

Follow the small roads
Auvergne is particularly suited to exploring by bike. Small quiet roads wind through the hills, villages, forests, meadows and valleys. There are both beautiful accessible walks and longer, more challenging routes for those who enjoy accumulating kilometers and elevation gain.
Along the way, there is always a village to stop at, a beautiful view worth taking the bike down to see, or a terrace to have a coffee. And especially, far from the cities, the roads are often almost all yours.
